Black Walnut hulls are an excellent source of natural Iodine, a very essential nutrient. Iodine is a must for good mental health & is a great protector of the Thyroid from radiation. Many use Black Walnut hulls for ridding the body of parasites & healing fungal issues, internally & externally. My most recent magic with Black Walnut was using it for a tooth problem I had (story below).
The old filling of an upper molar fell out & the inner edge of the tooth broke with it. It became loose and problematic with some infection in the gum. So the story goes that you get it pulled or they can try and “save” it…… this is in August. So I made another appointment for November to have it pulled…… a couple weeks before the appointment I decided to cancel. I just didn’t want it pulled. I was using Clay packs on the inside and REBs balm on the outside (to help with the bit of infection – I did this when my old root canal flared up and it worked wonders). The tooth was getting better but still definitely a problem BUT I didn’t want to get it pulled & and another root canal was NOT an option for me.
So… fast forward a bunch of months & I was reading about Black Walnut and parasites. Helda Clark has a great program for clearing parasites and she tells folks to take a 2 teaspoon dose once a week as maintenance after you have finished her program. So so so…….. to test the theory that you need to be very careful about using black walnut I put myself on a 2 teaspoon dose once a DAY to see what would happen…………… Well I’m absolutely delighted to tell you that by day 4 I realized my tooth felt better, Day 5 was better yet and fast forward to now the tooth is solid. My whole mouth seems to have reset itself in a good way. Yes, the inner part is still broken off but no pain and it has settled itself. Now I just do one 2 teaspoon dose on Mondays for maintenance.
On about Day 10 I realized I was feeling just wonderfully pleasant, didn’t know why but I’ll take it. About 3 weeks later I found myself reading about iodine and all its attributes. One of them being that it aids in good mental health…. Hhmmm interesting coincidence. Looking back to day 10 I would have to agree.
So I shared my story and started handing bottles out to others who had teeth pain, dental work problems, infections etc. Every single one of them felt better in days. Some cleared within a week and some had to stay on it for a few weeks. Some stopped when the pain went away only to have it come back because they didn’t stay on it long enough, so they did another week or more. I have come to find that Baking Soda is one of my favorite things to brush my teeth with.
