ORGANIC Herbs: Yarrow leaf & flower, St. John's Wort & Lady's Mantle herb
I started making this Tincture & tea for my daughter around 1994 & since then I have used it consistently. I even found it useful throughout my menopausal years to ease the monthly "ghosts" of change.
Sweet Monthly Tincture & tea where made to support a woman's needs while going through her menstrual cycle. That could be the hormonal changes she experiences or it could help relieve cramps & pain. It could also help with supporting & strengthening the uterus or with slowing heavy blood flows.
Some woman use it all month, some just the week before their cycle or just when they get their period. Some women who have been experiencing various menstrual issues over a period of months or years, use it over a longer period of time before their cycle begins. After a month or more they find that they only need to use Sweet Monthly starting the week before or the day before their actual period.
Sweet Monthly Tea or Tincture can also help bring support as needed at the actual time of your period. Drinking it as a HOT tea or in a HOT beverage has added effects due to the warmth introduced into the body through the temperature of the beverage. Warmth usually increases circulation which in turn can bring relaxation.
Little known about St. John's Wort is that it has a tradition of being used to calm & support the uterus and also to help with menstrual cramping & pain. Yarrow leaf & flower is known for it's help with hormonal balancing & in its help with relieving cramps. Yarrow is especially useful when girls become young woman & they don't have a regular pattern to their cycle. Yarrow is also known for it's cleansing effect throughout the body. Lady's Mantle, she brings her abilities to strengthen tendons & ligaments to support the uterus but also helps when a woman has heavy blood flow during her cycle.
