Fem-Love Tea
ORGANIC Herbs: Calendula flower, Red Raspberry leaf, Nettle leaf & Green Oatstraw
Fem-Love tea was formulated for uterus & reproductive support. Love Calendula flowers and all they do for the body! They are included in the mixture because of the support they bring to the uterus (they are also good for soothing belly/intestinal bloat). So they marry well with Red Raspberry in supporting a woman's reproductive health. Nettles always bring their nutritive support & stamina. While Green Oatstraw nourishes us & brings a calmness to our bodies.
Fem-Love also gives a person an alternative to the Woman's Red Raspberry Tea as we go through the months cycle. Both teas can be used long term if needed or as a casual tea just because it's good for you!
Below I shared the Woman's Red Raspberry Tea into Wine recipe!
It works just as well with this tea. Maybe try juicy Peaches or Mango instead of Raspberries.
Sometimes tea gets boring & you need to make some changes. Enjoy.
1oz. Women’s Red Raspberry tea (about 1 cup a bit packed)
1 bottle White Wine (or your favorite Wine) OR equal amount of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar (REAL ---- NOT Flavored!!)
1 – 12oz bag frozen Red Raspberries – thawed
Sweetener if desired such as real Maple Syrup, Raw Honey or Vegetable Glycerin
1) COLD METHOD – Use a large jar such as a 2 quart canning jar. Place the first 3 ingredients into the jar and secure the jar with a tight fitting lid. Label and date the jar. Place the jar in a dark area for a week to a couple of months, shaking daily or weekly. When steeping time is up, strain your wine and sweeten if desired. Bottle and Label. Need not be refrigerated. Enjoy.
We decided about 2 ounces of infused wine is equal to having a cup of tea so it makes a nice night cup before bed. OR Yes! you may enjoy a full glass of wine instead of the 2 ounces.
*Never use metal caps with Vinegar… enjoy as vinaigrette, in drinking water or in other cooking.
2) MULLED METHOD - Put herbs and wine into a small pan with a tight fitting lid. Heat until barely hot, turn off heat and stir any floating herbs back into the wine and replace cover. Add Red Raspberries. Allow to steep overnight. Strain through a cloth, squeezing out the herbs & raspberries. Sweeten if desired. Bottle the wine and put a label of contents on bottle.
BEST METHOD for THIS TEA------ full mineral extraction
Put measured Herbs in jar, pour hot water over herbs and allow to steep 4 hours to overnight. Strain tea as needed, leaving herbs in the water. Compost spent herbs.
OPTIONAL: Put some Red Raspberries in the jar with the herbs then pour the hot water over both and allow too steep for allotted time. Sweeten if desired.
